      Gainsight integration

      Connect Talkbase to Gainsight to sync community members, activities and events.

      You can connect your Gainsight account to synchronize data into Talkbase.

      How to set up your Gainsight integration?
        1. In Talkbase, under the "Workspace" section in the navigation panel, click on "Settings" and then click on "Integrations".
        2. Under "Community Integrations", find Gainsight and click "Install"

        2. Go to your Gainsight administration and create an OAuth2 client using Create an OAuth2 client button.

        3. Return to Talkbase and fill in the generated credentials from Gainsight administration.

        • ClientID
        • Client secret
        • Your region

        4. Gainsight integration has been successfully installed. Data sync should have been finished in a few minutes. The initial sync might take longer for Gainsight accounts with hundreds of members.

        What benefits does the Gainsight to Talkbase integration offer?

        Talkbase to Gainsight integration enables you to:
        • Sync all community members
        • Sync all community member's activities including comments, replies and reactions
        • Sync all events and their attendees

        Based on these data Talkbase provide insights to your Gainsight community. You can measure what is happening in your community. 

        Talkbase provides customizable Analytics boards for aggregating data from various integrations, including Salesforce and HubSpot, enabling you to create tailored dashboards. For custom board inquiries, please contact us.

        ℹ️ Tips & Useful Information:

        • You can see the events a contact has attended.

        • You can filter contacts using the "Registration by an event" filter. Other filters, such as "Event attendee checked-in", also work with Gainsight events.

        • Gainsight events are not currently included in the "Events" add-on. If you would like to see Gainsight events included here, you can submit this feature idea to our list.
