Check people into your events to track event attendance and get a better understanding of your event's performance.
👏 You’ve created your event! Now it’s time to keep track of event registrations, run your event, and access your event’s attendance and data.
Track registrations
From your events home page, after selecting your event, you can see the number and details of those who have registered. By going to the “Registrations” page of the event, you can see the “Total Registrations”, “Total Confirmed”, and “Checked-in” as well as details of attendees.
Tracking virtual event attendance
Within the “Registrations” page, you can manually check-in attendees to your event:
- Unlock the “Attended” column.
- Manually check ☑️ those in attendance.
- Be sure to finish by Locking the list when you’re done.
Scan in-person attendance
Talkbase provides a mobile ticket scanner for in-person events, and it’s easy!
When people register for an in-person event, their ticket will include a QR code which they will need to present for attendance tracking.
- Be sure your event is qualified as “In Person”, and you’ll find the “Scan Tickets” button.
- A QR ticket scanner link will pop up for you to share with your in-person events team with a mobile device with camera support.
- You’ll be able to scan attendee QR codes, found in their confirmation emails. Scanning in a QR code will automatically log that person’s attendance.
In the event you need to un-check a person in, you can do so following the instructions above to manually uncheck their "Attended" box.
Just to note:
The event team members will receive a one-day email reminder with event stats and an easy link to the QR Code Reader.
